Very clean during my 1 night stay. Would definitely stay again.

Good hotel great breakfast

STRIKE If you are traveling here beware there is a union strike of security staff for the casino. The strikers are using hotel guests and unfortunately horses and horse people as leverage for their cause. The hotel has NOT made the implications of this clear. On the website there was no obvious pop up warning. Through hotels.com there is no notice before booking, and the only notice you'll receive from the hotel will be a message with your confirmation stating you may need to allow extra travel time. No, actually, it's not travel time you need extra of. Strikers are holding each vehicle 15 minutes at entrance, meaning should you be sixth in line you are told you'll wait 1.5 hrs to enter parking. You can take your life in your hands of your a female and park over at the Woodbine Mall, however my understanding is that as of September 24, the mall will randomly be towing vehicles. What the hotel SHOULD be doing is arranging off-site parking and shuttles for guests AND making it abundantly clear on booking as to the implications of the strike for guests. When I called to ask staff where to park instead, they told me I'd just have to wait 15 minutes to get in 🙄 I can imagine they are sick of this situation, and clearly leadership on the issue is absent from the hotel to staff. To the striking security workers, I can empathize with a cause, but using horses and their welfare as leverage is NOT ok. Do better.

The room was clean and staff was very helpful and the use of the pool and sauna and hot tub was an extra plus!

Excellent stay, everything had been carefully considered and staff were very helpful.
