The majority of the units were booked by a large group who proceeded to have a party until 4 am in the morning. The manager was not easy to get in contact with. They explained they weren’t aware that this was a large group booking as they had all been booked individually online. That’s fair enough. I understand they can’t control the actions of guests. And while I appreciated their apology for a horrendous night of no sleep and obscene behaviour, the manager made no attempt to rectify the situation. For example simply offering a return night, even at a non-peak time when the apartment would otherwise be empty, would’ve been appreciated. Unless you’re going for a party, I certainly wouldn’t recommend staying.

During our stay room was perfect and clean location and proximity to amenities were great, location to attractions in the local area were fine as well. The problem arose approximately about 10pm at night when guests directly above our seaview rooms came back from wherever they were coming from, for the next 3 and half hours music, TV were both played quite loudly until after 1am in the morning. The next morning I notifed reception staff when we were having our breakfast quite late that we had a poor sleeping experience due to other guests we had breakfast at 8:45am. I asked could they accommodate a later checkout as a result (we planned on having breakfast at 7:00am as we usually wake around 6:30am), reception staff they would allow an extra 30 minutes only and we would need to pay beyond 30 minutes. This is quite a poor result due the fact this wasn't self induced? I didn't decide to get on the booze and sleep through my alarm, my partner our 3yo daughter and myself had an ultra poor sleep due to other patrons. Given this isn't a result of hotel staff clearly that can be deduced but for me to have to tell my 3yo we can't go for a swim in the pool in the morning due to sleeping in which was (directly due to hotel hoons stamping around above us and blaring music/TV) is a little disappointing. this is clearly an example of poor service delivery. It seems super stingy to offer such meagre repatriations for possibly more than a few hours lost and a poor night's sleep.

Clean room. Good location, easy access to transport. However, no restaurants or food nearby except a 7/11 store, then coffee shop in the morning. need to go into the CBD, 15-20 min walk or take public transportation.
