The AC in the room wasn't working properly since date we checked in and there were no room available to change us. We weren't able to reserve in any of the restaurants. They were always booked. Never saw the concierge that was assigned to us. We were told we would get an amenity for inconvenience of the AC and it never happened either.

Beautiful property, place and people

I love the property all together. It was wonderful the staff, the concierge. Everything. What's wonderful about the property? Just I had to call maintenance a couple of times but they came right away otherwise no complaints

The hotel is big and looks pretty and the amenities including the water park was good. My main complaint is poor housekeeping. Housekeeping did a poor job cleaning our room. My Vichy tinted sunscreen went missing the second morning. I believe it was accidently thrown out. Soap and shampoo were not refilled and we had to take the bottle off the wall so it would be refilled the next day and one time, the bottle was taken out of the room and not returned. Riu has to invest in new towels. Most of the white towels had stains on them which were disgusting. There was a dark stain on one of the dark beach towels and that was gross. Overall we still had a good time.

Wonderful resort. Just wish the front desk did a better job with informing us when different parties were happening.
