South Bay Ski Vacations

The first night the room did not get cleaned. We requested towels other nights. There is only one post for towels in the bathroom. Hence the towels were on the floor. The hotel charged a resort fee. Pretty standard but the promised coffee bar downstairs was empty and there was on one tea bag on the stand. We got a credit at restaurants but the bar was only open 1 day we were there. The restaurant was only open for breakfast until 9 am. I had to set my alarm to get my $15 free coffee and Tea.

All was wonderful. Have to say that after making reservations two months in advance m, I was a bit disappointed in where we were placed. I should have said something when we check in but once I got over what I was expecting, the room location was okay but the room itself was over the top. We will go again but be a bit more vocal in our room placement. But this place comes with our strong recommendation to stay.

The hotel is in a great location in the gaslamp section of San Diego. The staff was very friendly and personable. We did eat in the restaurant and the service was slow. The waiter did not hide the fact the kitchen was slow and did apologize many times. The room was our concern. It was very small and tight. The bathroom was very oversize. There was a huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which made it difficult to get in and out. Also the faucet was barely dripping water. Also, the fridge didn't keep water cold. Overall thoughts were not all negative. I'd stay again but request a different room to accommodate us and pick a different shower set up.

Amazing stay! The rooms are immaculate. The food was extraordinary. We ate at Garibaldis and that food was also incredible. Staying here again for sure

Catamaran Resort and Spa is a beautiful, family-friendly resort in a perfect bayfront location. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff was friendly and the amenities were great for both kids and adults. The bird cage was a big hit with our toddler. Overall, it was an enjoyable, stress-free stay, and we would happily return and recommend it.
