Construction always seem to hurt ratings but that was my only complaint. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Yes we got a ocean view upgrade which was brilliant Hotel food was well below average, Rum fire food poor and expensive, poolside food was dry and low quality, we never went to breakfast viewing it once we never went and always eat out! Building works to pool bar area and outside recreation area the whole two and a half weeks we were there was disappointing Room was ok and the cleaning staff were nice Overall not worth the money we paid we have been here twice before won’t go back again Place is looking tied and under maintained now Much better places to stay

What a little gem! Our balcony looks right at the fireworks on Friday night, the infinity pool and service was excellent. My husband and I both agreed they make you feel like you are home. The concierge, Anton, I believe his name was, helped us book tours around the bad weather, giving great advice. It’s within walking distance of everything.

Everything was perfect! Thank you to the Marbella Team, our stay was excellent. We enjoyed everything Mākaha valley had to offer. Especially the amazing sunsets! 10/10 would recommend

The first night we arrived, I had already reserved a table two weeks in advance for my friend’s birthday. I even called twice to confirm, and both times they assured me that our table was reserved. But when we arrived, they did not give us the table we had been promised. We were kept waiting and eventually seated somewhere far away from the stage. When dinner was served, the food was very disappointing. The quality is nothing like it used to be, and it was not enjoyable at all. I’m not sure what has happened with the management, but this was definitely not the hotel I remembered and had visited many times before. Even the water glass they brought me was extremely dirty, with a piece of food still stuck to it. I clearly remember the manager, Steve, coming over and apologizing, but despite everything that happened, nothing was offered to make up for the experience other than an apology. Then, on the second or third night, we asked to have our room cleaned in the morning. When we came back that night and were getting ready for bed, we noticed a stain on the bedsheet. We honestly could not tell whether it was blood, feces, or chocolate because the room did not have enough lighting. The manager came to the room and simply offered a $200 discount. I will absolutely not return to this hotel, and I would not recommend it. Perhaps because I booked the room through Expedia, they were more careless about our experience, but I really don’t know.

This place is gorgeous! I am a native to Oahu and wanted to staycation for my anniversary. Didn't want to do the Waikiki stay, and I've always seen this resort but they never have availability! Just so happen, the dates worked and I was in awe from the moment I got here. Everything is so open and connected to nature. The room was perfect, with a full kitchen and dishes / cookware are all included! Resort fee includes free rentals of snorkeling equipment, kayaks (single & double), paddle boards, and on Saturday from 10am-2pm they offer a ride out to the sandbar on their boat! The pool and jacuzzi were amazing! The banana bread and coffee in the main area were really yummy. Ice machine right outside our room, next to our car that we parked literally feet from the front door to our room. Gorgeous nature scenery in every direction! Unit 61 is a corner unit on the top floor overlooking the pool and the canal that leads to the ocean. Kayaking out to the little island was cute but water was a bit choppy today. The little waterfalls that they have stationed all.over the property make everything sound so serene. We will.definitely be back for future staycations!
