Beautiful hotel in the hills northeast of Bilbao. Easy to find, and as convenient as can be expected to drive in and out of the city for a few days. Unlike many places in Spain, good reliable air conditioning. Note that the “Family” room is just one room, so no privacy for anyone sleeping in either of the two beds. Hotel restaurant was good, not great, but good value.

"Perfect location on the river between the old and new town. Hotel felt very new. Clean and comfortable. Fridge in the room which is a bonus. Would happily stay here again as a first choice when in the city next"
