9/10 Wonderful! (2,753 reviews)
I booked a room with a city view, but we were given the back side of the building where you can only see rooftops. The next day, they texted asking how our stay was. I told them the room was nice, but we didn’t get the city view we paid for. They offered to move us to a room with a better view, which they did, but the A/C in that room wasn’t working. The room stayed hot even after they sent an engineer to check it.
They eventually brought in a portable A/C that had to be propped up in the window. It was loud, and throughout the night we had to get up several times because it either got too cold or the noise was too disruptive. Between the sound of the portable unit and the noise from outside, it was hard to sleep.
For the price of a hotel stay, relying on a portable A/C feels unacceptable. They need to make sure guests actually receive the room features and comfort they pay for.
