"I stayed in the Heritage wing. I liked the old charm. Checking in was a breeze and the room's view of the lake was lovely. The highlight were the pools. As a solo traveller, I used almost all of them (except for the family pool). Please know that there is chlorine added to the water. I'd recommend bringing your favorite lotion and hair conditioner (or swim cap) as the chlorine seemed to dry everything out. I indulged in the breakfast one morning. The view from the dining room was great, the food was just okay"

"We have stayed at the River Rock quite a few times and this was the first time I wouldn’t give it 5 stars. There was a planned power outage for 14 hours. They told us when we checked in but did nothing to compensate us. I did not love that as it meant the restaurants were not open and the main reason we stay there is because it’s like a little all inclusive weekend. It won’t stop us from going back but it was a disappointment"

"Room decor was a little outdated, but the king bed was beyond comfortable. The water pressure and temp in the shower was insanely good. Paid for harbour view room, and it did not disappoint. Excellent stay!"
