There was no parking when we arrived, and we had to stand 30 minutes in line to check in. Our room was quite small and dated and not worth $422. We enjoyed dining in the copper room with live music and dancing, although the menu was rather pricey. It is a nice resort on the lake with a large outdoor hot tub area.

We were put in the West wing room 230, I’m honestly blown away over the fact that rooms are the prices they are, and in the condition they are. The rooms smell, they are beyond dated, the carpet is lifting and disgusting. I didn’t even feel comfortable letting my 3 year old sit on the carpet. There are stains on the roof, which I couldn’t tell was mold, or blood. The box springs are yellowing, hanging out the base of the bed. We were in the room for an hour and left to go home instead of staying the night. It’s really a shame this hotel is in the condition it is, the potential it has, it really could be amazing. The owners really need to give this a good look over. The hot spring pools themselves were good although do look like they could use a good cleaning. Overall won’t be back which sucks because we love the little town.

New owners are working on upgrading the property which is a bit tired. They also appeared to be a bit understaffed. Lots of things are being worked on though, so hopefully things are moving in the right direction. Hot pools are still great for a therapeutic soak and the lake and beach areas are lovely. A great setting!
