Family-friendly North Vancouver vacation home in Central Lonsdale with water park
In the heart of Central Lonsdale, in the city of North Vancouver, this 109-year old “Craftsman-era” heritage home is surrounded by 100+ year old cedar and fir trees and beautiful perennial flower beds. A corner lot, on the top of the 19th street hill, with a view of Lions Gate bridge, Burrard Inlet, and Lighthouse Park, this garden oasis is secluded, yet located within easy access to the downtown, the North Shore Mountains, and even Whistler Village. Simply the perfect base to explore and enjoy Vancouver for the first time or while visiting family and friends!
Our home offers a recently renovated, fully furnished 700 square foot one bedroom self-contained suite. Guests are treated to a private entrance accessed on the North side of the house, just off the gardens. Parking is available at the front of the house or above the back driveway.
Bright and spacious, the floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen area offer peekaboo views of the North Shore. The suite boasts an open plan, carpeting and slate tiles throughout, and all the necessary amenities including in suite laundry. High speed internet access via WIFI, on demand hot water and separate controls to base board and forced air heating ensures you can relax and enjoy your home away from home.
We are located close to a number of must see Vancouver sites. Just above the driveway you are immediately at the new North Shore Green Necklace walking path leading into Greenwood Park. For those skiing and biking enthusiasts, or if you just want to take in some hiking, bear watching or spectacular views, there is easy access to Grouse Mountain (11 minutes), Mount Seymour (20 minutes), Cypress Bowl (30 minutes), and Whistler Mountain (75 minutes). Other popular destinations like Capilano Suspension Bridge (7 minutes), Stanley Park (10 minutes), Park Royal Shopping Mall (8 minutes) and the Horseshore Bay Ferry Terminal (16 minute), are only a short drive away. Or take a leisurely walk or convenient bus ride down Lonsdale and enjoy Lonsdale Quay, and the shops, restaurants, waterpark or ice rink (depending on the season) at the Shipyards. At the base of Lonsdale, take the 12 minute Seabus ride across the water to enjoy downtown Vancouver. Be sure to have you camera ready as you take in spectacular views of the city, mountains, and Burrard Inlet while riding this passenger only ferry.

Tranquil lush setting
This nicely appointed 1 bedroom sits right off a lush garden. Coming in to Canada I needed to quarantine and this place was great—a garden to escape to when the sun was out. Great internet connection that allowed me to work remote throughout. Well suited for a weekend or an extended stay!

Great place, Centrally located
Well maintained. All the essentials for light use of the kitchen were present. Frances responded to requests for other items ... happy to oblige. Overall a good experience though price is more than an Albertan/Edmontonian area resident is used to paying.
