Old-money elegance at its finest!
I spent two marvelous weeks in a Superior Suite at Alvear Palace and it was everything I hoped for.
This is classic, understated luxury. Marble bathrooms, herringbone floors, fresh flowers daily, and service that is both discreet and impeccable. The staff anticipates everything without ever being intrusive — that’s true old-money hospitality.
Afternoon tea at L’Orangerie and dinner at La Bourgogne felt like stepping into another era. The entire hotel has a timeless, aristocratic feel that you don’t find anymore.
If you want flashy and new, this isn’t it. If you want timeless luxury in the heart of Recoleta, Alvear Palace is it. Absolutely marvelous, and I’ll be back.
