Sydney Eastern Suburbs Kid friendly Vacations

The staff appeared to be quite inexperienced when it came to service and cleaning. The staff were not dressed as professionally as they could be. One of the staff was wearing a black mini skirt with boots which did not fit in with the atmosphere of the hotel. The rest of the staff were wearing the Watson’s bay hotel t-shirts with jeans or track pants. The trolley in the room that had the teacups and glasses on it was extremely dusty so obviously had not been cleaned in a long time. The shutters on the sliding doors were also extremely dusty. My sister who was celebrating her birthday tripped over a large rusty steel propeller that was placed in the room for decoration perhaps and she grazed her leg. No first aid was offered to her. The item was ultimately removed from the room. There were no extra pillows in the room. The information booklet in the room stated that the kitchen closed at 9pm when in actual fact it closed at 8pm which we nearly missed out on ordering after going down to the dining room. When we went to check out at 10.45am, there were trays of food outside guest rooms that had not been removed from the night before which had leftover food on them. Lovely location and view from the room but very disappointed in the service provided.

Location was great and we would gladly stay here again. But the bed was so soft that my husband ended up sleeping on the couch. Spoke to staff but they said all beds were the same.

We arrived early and got an early check in . On departure they were kind enough to hold our bags whilst we picked up a patient from the hospital. The kitchen downstairs was an added bonus as it kept our cost of food down . The room was pleasant and clean , staff friendly and so close to hospital and a 18mim walk to Coogee beach . Also lived the outdoor courtyard , was. I e to sit outside of your room with seating and tables available Was great experience and would definitely stay again
