Wonderful place to stay

Every staff member we interacted with seemed completely disinterested in the guests. The woman at the front desk put us in one of the absolute worst rooms and didn’t explain how to reach the room which was on the second floor behind some doors that looked like big brown swinging kitchen doors. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and wanted to go someplace special - we were so disappointed in the Sofitel DC experience. We will never go there again!

Great experience overall. Wonderful room - excellent bed, bathroom, amenities. Housekeeping missed the mark one just one day - But overall great place to stay

They say they are 4 star but I’ve been to nicer 3 star hotel. The quality just wasn’t there, the front desk couldn’t even break a $100 for tip money. Room keys kept failing and security seem lacking but Georgetown is as safe as you get in DC.

Great service and amenities.

Thoroughly enjoyed the two big windows in our room that allowed us to soak in the views of the river. Even though it was not cold enough for the fireplace, we did have it on for a bit to take i. The whole experience of the clean and tidy room. Miguel provided exceptional attention to our needs! Looking to rebook for our anniversary.
