Due to big tour groups breakfast was a little crowded, but the staft still managed to refill everything expediently. One observation to note is that the hotel, although sounding icelandic, is internationally staffed. So stick to the front desk for questions..

My wife and I were very happy with our stay. The hotel had a good location, the staff was most helpful and the facility was well maintained. We especially liked the breakfast bar. It was truly excellent. The food quality and variety of selections were great. I wish I could remember name but I think he was Polish. He was especially helpful recommending a restaurant for dinner. This is the second Foss Hotel we have stayed in Europe. Both were excellent. You will be happy you booked a stay at this hotel.
