Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was quite disappointing from the moment we arrived. When checking in, I was told that my room would be ready within one hour. I had travelled for approximately 13 hours with an infant, so I specifically requested an early check-in and was reassured that the room would be ready within an hour. Despite repeatedly explaining that I had been travelling for such a long time with a baby, there was very little sympathy or effort from the staff to accommodate us. Instead of receiving our room within the promised hour, we waited approximately three hours and did not get access to our room until around 5:00 PM, even though the hotel’s standard check-in time was 3:00 PM. After such a long journey with an infant, this was extremely frustrating and exhausting. Unfortunately, the issues continued during our stay. We had to continuously contact and remind staff to have our room cleaned, rather than having housekeeping attend to it as expected. There was also a strange/unpleasant odour in the room that we reported, but it was not properly addressed or resolved. Overall, the lack of communication, consideration, and attention to basic guest service was very disappointing. Travelling with an infant can already be challenging, and after a 13-hour journey, I expected the hotel to show at least some understanding and make the check-in and stay as comfortable as possible. I hope management takes this feedback seriously

Absolutely amazing place. I have been using it since 2014 and it has always been a pleasure. Every bit of it is superb. I miss the Turkish restaurant they had many years back.

Staff as always are very freindly and helpful. The water in the pool is chilled, which makes summer day at the pool in ME tolerable.

1st time in Amwaj, room was clean and nice seaview room. Staff was very helpful.
