Great place and great food

Very quick (slightly early) check in. We booked 2 rooms & they were next door to each other, as requested. The rooms were beautiful. Super comfy king size beds, excellent bathrooms, and a lovely little welcome box of chocolates. Breakfast in Giardino was amazing. Great selection of foods, wonderful friendly service, and such a lovely setting. We had lunch & coffee in Mosaico. Another stunning setting in the lobby of the hotel. Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. The pool was perfect. Plenty of space, comfortable loungers, and chilled to just the right temperature in the July heat. We loved our short stay at Palazzo Versace & hope to return next year.

I got a suite the first thing I noticed when I took off my shoes the carpets were damp I was tired so I fell asleep when I woke up. I had a huge headache. I called housekeeping. They said they would come dry it later when I left the room I came back. It was still a little damp , but it was manageable . The room overall was very clean when I went to take a bath the tub would not open or close. I had to call maintenance. The guy came and showed me how to use it he said it’s just a little hard to open and close to safe kept malfunctioning. The sauna steam room were filthy and out of date the staff was excellent the food downstairs at the French restaurant was amazing. The buffet was all right.
