Great relaxing atmosphere with very friendly service

Room was great, super clean and roomy. Staff awesome and the rooftop bar with view of the city made the stay all the more memorable!

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is literally opposite the train station. There’s a Five Guys across the road and a good restaurant just steps away. The hotel is old but fairly well maintained. The toilet is really large and the room itself is quite a decent size. Water pressure in the shower was weak however. The main attractions are within walking distance as is shopping. I would not mind staying here again if the price is good.

ALERT! Manager will try to deny this review as he said to us when leaving - THE POOL. Nice view and pool but we had to get our own towels from a bag. We had to clean chairs off of food/cigs & towels after waiting patiently for help. The one pool employee was never proactive. Also BEWARE, the hotel rents out the pool to outside parties so you may be left without anywhere to sit or get service which happened to us on July 21st. THE ROOM, is in high need of renovations. Dirty, bugs, ants everywhere and AC doesn't work, WiFi is very weak or lost, Cell network is minimal. THE FOOD, Pool = terrible Breakfast= below average Dinner = overpriced buffet only THE SERVICE: We cut trip short for family emergency by 2 days. Paid directly with hotel on arrival but booked through Expedia. Hotel takes full £ up front. They refused to refund last 2 nights despite 48hrs notice of us leaving. Explaining our tragedy asking the manager he only offered one night if: 1. Expedia called him and we gave our bank account details as he wouldn't refund back to original CC. 2. He said Expedia is the customer and not us?? TRANSPORTATION: it's a 17-25 euro cost each way by taxi to get into town or 40 minute risky walk-no Uber. HOUSE KEEPING: they make you return all keys to front desk before cleaning. Hotel is on the verge of bankruptcy it seems as you have to beg for the smallest things to be done. Overall, they lack staff and the customer service is very poor and slow. 1.5 stars at best

We had a wonderful week at the Palazzo Firenze by Baglioni Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is located a short walk from the center of Florence. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much for them. Their recommendations for restaurants were also excellent especially the Natalino which was 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great hotel and location. The area was so much more mellow than areas closer to the Cathedral, but still completely within walking distance. It was also an easy walk from the train station. The staff was very attentive. Amenities included nightly turndown service and a truly amazing breakfast.

Incredible room, staff, rooftop and breakfast.

I walked by this property while on a cruise seven years ago and thought it looked charming! I took a quick photo and remembered it for what was my current trip. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The accommodations were beautiful, the breakfast, the best ever, and the staff very nice and very helpful. The location is wonderful though it took me a while to get my bearings in Florence. Wonderful stay wish I had booked it for longer!
