It is literally 50 steps to Piazza del Campo and maybe 200 yards in the other direction to the Siena Cathedral.The unit is clean and well lit and well painted and the beds are comfortable and the access is very easy with big wide stairs. 「We enjoyed our stay in Sienna. We were driving from Venice with stops along the way and the hosts were very accommodating to meet us for check-in. 「We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. 」
