The property itself was great, clean and well staffed but the biggest turn off for us was not being able to use the beach any of the days we were there due to the seaweed. Also they really try hard to get you to buy a timeshare there with free excursion tickets but having experience with that, we were able to see that in advance. We were also only able to reserve 1 specialty restaurant in the 5 days that we were there and it wasn't very good, it was really frustrating to not be about to book multiple in the rest of the days. The daily buffet was good, food was always fresh, the staff very attentive in the main buffet but not in the farm buffet closer to the pool. The pools were clean. Overall, nice property but I wouldn't consider it again, due to the area it's in and overall experience.

The resort was amazing! I loved everything about it except the food option are limited for people who don’t eat pork. Turkey product should be added to the menu

We loved all of the options for swimming. There were many pools to choose from. The gym was also a great addition. Service was slow mixed-sometimes attentive, other times, I couldn’t find anyone to order food from. In general, the food was not good. My daughter became ill on the second day from it My review went from 4 stars to 3 because when I went to check out, I was charged an additional $40 for the cabana when I was told by two people it would be $100. I asked for an itemized receipt, and they refused to provide it to me or tell me what the extra charges came from. They simply stated it was from “drinks,” but I don’t drink alcohol. Due to the lack of transparency and withholding of this information, it left a bad impression. The beach had too much seaweed to swim in most days. I understand this is out of the hotel’s control, but the cleanup effort didn’t look like it was doing much. Next time, I would choose somewhere else. It was very beautiful though.
