We had an amazing stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was clean and relaxing. The food and drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere made for a perfect vacation. The only thing I didn’t like was that the resort didn’t clearly communicate the schedule for daily activities, so it was easy to miss them. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely come back.

Definitely won’t be the last time this resort sees me. I gotta say what really sets this place apart from other resorts I’ve stayed at is the food. The stuff were nice and super helpful. If you see a bartender named Lucia just know you’re in good hands!!!

The resort is nice but caters to their preferred guest. If you don't want to buy any extras during your stay the staff is less helpful/accommodating

We just got back from a 4-night stay (July 6–10) at Moon Palace Sunrise. We traveled as a family of 5 with boys ages 9, 11 & 12. Overall, we had a great trip and would absolutely return! The biggest surprise was how much there was for older kids to do. The arcade, coffee shop, daily activities, and nightly shows kept them entertained the entire trip. The Sunrise pool is HUGE and never felt crowded despite being busy. The atmosphere was fun and energetic. The food was good—our favorite was the steakhouse. We did the presentation for the Grand water park pass. The water park was fun, and the food at The Grand was noticeably better. However, I wouldn’t spend vacation time on the presentation again. The resort credits were disappointing—we had over $1,250 and couldn’t find much to use them on. Even after saying no, we were repeatedly pressured to buy, including at checkout. Our biggest negative was the staff. Everyone was polite, but not nearly as warm or welcoming as we’ve experienced at other Caribbean resorts. We also noticed missing pool tiles and the pool was dirty to the point when you got out you needed to shower immediately. While there were workers constantly scrubbing it did not remove the problem. Overall, we made great family memories. I’d definitely return, but I’d love to see less sales pressure and friendlier service.

I will probably not return to this hotel. Property was good, But I was never able to reserve for one of the 3 restaurants that required a reservation. I was here to celebrate my daughter’s Bday and they weren’t able to help with a reservation. being that the tables looked empty. Very disappointed for that part of the service. The breakfast and lunch buffets were ok.
