"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. "This was a beautiful hotel! We had a great little sitting area with a view of the ocean. The property is on the older side but in excellent condition. We didn't get to try the food but the restaurant looked wonderful. "

"This was one of my favorite hostel experiences ever. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "
