"Absolutely excellent hotel, easily the best I’ve stayed within Eastern Asia. Staff at door and front desk were lovely and accommodating, even receiving a free upgrade for our stay. Front door man was always willing to order our taxis and have a morning chat. Cleaners did an excellent job. Room was lovely, free mini bar highly appreciated. "Lovely hotel. Nice touches in the rooms with free coke and sprite and water in fridge every day. Slippers and soft dressing gowns. Lovely body wash ( different ones for morning and evening) and shampoo. Shower power was perfect. Comfy bed Breakfast was good lots of choice and styles of food. The outdoor area was gorgeous with superb views of the bund The area was fantastic. 10 minutes walk to Yuyan gardens and the historical area. 5 minutes from the metro. 15 minutes walk to the bund one way or peoples park the other way. Best location to stay in my opinion. Lovely friendly bar next door called chalet plus one side and a handy supermarket other side. Thankyou very much we really enjoyed our stay and recommend your lovely hotel "
