「It's right in front of the bus stop, easy to access from Penrith station. Very clean and cosy room, friendly and kind staff. I had a dinner at the restaurant, very good. Needless to say, the English full breakfast was fantastic. 」

「Yes, lovely clean and quiet room. The breakfast and available snacks were great. Our hostess was very friendly and could not do enough to help us with any questions that we might have had the area. We would definitely go back again.」

「とにかくすばらしいの一言。建物の外観や内装、庭はもちろん、典型的なイングランドの川（エデン川）、橋、教会の尖塔のおりなす感動的な風景を堪能できます。このような風景を眺めながら味わう朝食も質量ともに言うことなし。自家製の蜂蜜やママレードなども出して頂けます。長年イギリス中を旅していますが、これほどのホテルにはあまり出会ったことがありません。できれば自分だけの隠れ家にしておきたかったところですが、Valさん（ご主人）は「是非日本の方にももっといらして頂きたい！」とのことだったので投稿しました。 カーライル中心街から7kmと少し離れますが、バスが走っています。車（レンタカー等）をお持ちであればベストです。SainsburyやTescoなど主なスーパーへも簡単に車で買い出しに行けます。また、Lake Districtへの拠点としても好適地です。それから、Valさんにお願いしたところ部屋に冷蔵庫まで入れて頂けました。これはすごく助かりました！」
