"great room, great restaurant, great location"

"This is a wonderful authentic English country Inn, with a great pub with a varied selecton of beer, the restaurant serves also both classic pub food and fantastic daily specials, and hot and cold choices for breakfasts. We really enjoyed out stay."

"Nice location. Surprisingly the 'breakfast ' 'served'"

"Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles."

"The room was very nice. The staff were all professional and engaging. The restaurant had great food and a beautiful atmosphere. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the Royal George."
