「While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby.」

「This cottage turned out to be an ideal location for our 51st anniversary stay. Our historic site destinations were just 30-40 mins away. It provided a very relaxing and restful place to stay after our tiring days activities. Sharon was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. She provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our special occasion. We would definitely check to see if this cottage was available if traveling in the area.」

「Rented for my son's graduation and was able to easily sleep 8 and host a graduation bbq with others. Fantastic memory and a great environment to connect with a larger group in a family setting. Owners were great and very helpful all around so that I could host a great weekend.」

「The open concept kitchen-living-dining was perfect for our family gathering. The house appeared to be less than 5 years old and is a perfect “movie like” neighborhood. They also decorated it for Christmas with a tree and a wreath along with a few pieces here and there made our Christmas to New Year’s Eve celebration even homier. Our concerns were minor: have 2 sets of towels for all 8 guests, add enough plates, cups, mugs, salad plates and silverware for 12, add kitchen towels, add a pizza...

「Joe and Michelle were excellent hosts, and the yellow cottage we had the pleasure of renting from them was beyond adorable. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, tastefully furnished and had a lovely back yard in which we could catch a glimpse of birds, chipmunks and the occasional rabbit. My mother and I were in town under rather stressful circumstances, and were so grateful that this place could offer us some relaxing respite. Book it now, you won’t be disappointed.」

「The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.」

I spent more of my time sitting on the porch, than inside. The property is rural, but doesn't feel completely disconnected. Close to 2 great hiking parks. Laurel was attentive and had the place stocked with the necessities and then some.」
