I travel on and off the island a lot and I’ve stated pretty much every hotel in Waikiki in the old adage goes you get what you pay for. I gave it a four star because of that but probably should be a three star. This is a quaint little hotel great location perfect for being around the shops in downtown Waikiki, but it definitely has its negative. The place is old and the room that I was staying in definitely smelled like it had been smoked in from the way past. Perhaps new carpet that’s not 20 years old would help not hold all that smoke. The carpet was torn. But the worst was the cockroaches that I slapped off of me in the middle of the night. The host was great very helpful and again the locations pretty good just might’ve been my room that was
