Wow...Not much more to say than that. This was a PERFECT cabin for our family! Everything was amazing. I MISS IT!
Cabin was spotless, beds and couches were super comfy (love that four of the seats recline), internet had great connection, and there was the perfect amount of space for us to spread out a little, but still be together.
We enjoyed using the fire pit to hang out, make s'mores, play games, and enjoy a glass (or two) of wine. The indoor fireplace was used A LOT (especially those first couple of days/nights when we had some snow flurries) and we occasionally fought over who got to sit on the end of the couch closest to it.
The kitchen had absolutely everything I needed to cook and I was able to easily and comfortably make several meals.
The view and walk along down the neighborhood road/river was beautiful and peaceful. We barely saw anyone driving in or out during our 4 night stay (so quiet).
The strings lights off the loft and on the gazebo just made my teenage daughter's heart so happy (she loves those lights)!
The area was gorgeous and we visited The Dan'l Boone Inn for dinner one night (a must visit for our family when staying anywhere nearby), stopped at Ashe County Cheese, enjoyed an escape room & apothecary at Great Southern Gothic (SO FUN!), enjoyed some hiking at the Mount Jefferson State Natural Area (the Mountain Ridge Trail is NO JOKE, but totally worth it!), saw some amazing views along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and stopped in at the New River State Park (Elk Shoals) for some river/water fun (just the toes...). We also just chilled a little - and we were ok with that! We had more we wanted to do/see, but "so much to do, so little time".
If I absolutely HAD to find something wrong, it was that the "Dining Pass" mentioned in the welcome binder was not on the fridge so we didn't get to use that (which would have been nice), but that is literally me grasping for something to "complain" about.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you stay here! :)
