"I liked the hotel, location, very clean property well maintained, but in the middle of no where. But what i did not like is that, at 10pm i was told the kitchen is closed, there is nothing to order nothing to see, and thats kind of disappointing, i get it, no one should be typically eating late, but what if you had a long day, and dont want to leave the hotel searching for food, thats not really cool, at the very least kitchen should be open till 11pm on Thursday night, and going into the weekend…so yes, although the hotel, rooms and overall a good solid 3 star hotel, but as far as amenities NO, did not deliver, if i had known Would have stayed somewhere else…"

"A little confusing to find the entry gate when first arrived but it was a beautiful place to spend a few days for R&R. The castle was beyond our expectations. Elise was a wonderful host. She responded to all of our questions in a timely manner."

"Had a wonderful time with our extended family here. The upstairs porch was a great space for morning coffee and evening stargazing, and the pool and poolhouse was a huge blessing in the summer Texas heat. Lake access close by and neighborhood is nice and quiet. Highly recommend!"

"The Osborne family had a great time at our reunion at Camp Sandy. Twenty five of us, ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 93 were there. All found lots of things to do to have fun and mingle both inside and outside. David did a wonderful job of making us aware of the issues caused by the lake's overflow. He worked hard to mitigate them and make other activities available as the lake receded. He was very personal and available. 5 stars!"
