"What a beautiful cottage, perfect for our trip South and hosts couldn’t have been more helpful!"

"What a wonderful home from home. Everything you need for a short break away. Comfy beds, lovely bath and shower, great log burner sustainable (air source) heating. Couldn't fault it and would have stayed longer if we could. Some lovely local landmarks including St Botolphs Church and Farnborough Hall just a short walk away. Would highly recommend and look forward to rebooking 👍"

"We had a fantastic weekend away in The Hovel. Beautiful well equipped property with beautiful views. Can’t wait to stay again!"

"The house was spacious, cosy, and welcoming and we were enjoying our stay.Unfortunately, our experience was ruined on the last day due to an honest mistake with the check out date. We thought it was Saturday at 10 but it was actually Friday. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. "We stayed as a multigenerational group for my mum's 70th and the entire stay was magical. The cottages have been built with incredible craftsmanship and love into the small details. The kitchens and living areas are good sizes with all amenities taken care of. The games room and games lawn were a huge hit with the kids as was the wildlife in the woods and the pond. We didn't even need to leave the site as there was so much to do. The sunset view from the Walnut hot tub with the swinging hammock...

"It was very peaceful and calm. Place was very clean and neat. Staff is very polite and will help any way they can. The hot tub was very clean, got checked every day and easy to use. The bbq was also easy to use and great added feature. The shower pressure was good and straight forward. It has great security and feels very safe. Just amazing overall. Would recomend "
