"This lovely property is in an idyllic setting on a quiet country lane, across from a creek. We were delighted with the lodgings, and the amenities were outstanding. We had two little girls with us, who loved the flowers growing in the yard, and creek. It seemed as if all the furnishings were new, or nearly new, and the only negatives that I might mention, were that our bed was ultra firm ( a little too firm for me) . "We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer! The place was super clean and the views were beautiful once the rain finally stopped! Close to our favorite brewery and cidery. There were issues with TV reception (buffering) which may just be the area. Not much time for TV watching anyway with all the beautiful things to explore. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Black Bear Lodge fit our two families very happily. There were ample bathrooms, the beds were very comfortable and the view is lovely. The house was well-maintained and It's a short drive to the slopes."
