The Hunker Down is perfectly situated in the heart of Downtown Staunton. Park your car for the weekend and stroll the streets of Staunton right from your front door! The unit is located in the lower unit of a large, historic home and features a large kitchen, living area, 2 large bedrooms with queen beds, a work-from-home space, and large fenced-in yard for your pup(s)!

Please note that The Hunker Down is the lower level unit of this home (there is another Airbnb upstairs; it may be possible to hear others above you) and is accessed down a flight of stairs through the courtyard:

KITCHEN - Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and drip coffee maker.

LIVING/DINING - Dining table with seating for 4, couch, reading chair, Roku Smart Tv (feel free to login to your streaming apps)

BEDROOM 1 -Queen bed, nightstands, lamps with USB charging ports, DOHM sound machine, and dresser.

BEDROOM 2 - King bed, nightstands, lamps with USB charging ports, DOHM sound machine, luggage rack.

BATHROOM - Shower/tub combo, washer and dryer.

PATIO - Table and 2 chairs. There is an exterior door camera by the front door.

One parking permit is included with your stay for street parking directly outside the home. If you need additional parking, there is more street parking, or we include a parking pass to the New St. Parking Garage right around the corner. The unit is accessed with an electronic coded key pad.

The Hunker Down is the lower level unit of this home and is accessed down a flight of stairs through the courtyard. The upstairs of this home also functions as a separate Airbnb, but both units are very private. ** This property is monitored by a Ring camera at the doorbell, as well as a security camera at the walkway to monitor for conditions like snow and ice, etc.**
