"I don't always have the best luck with hotels in the city. Of course at the high price end, you can get it all. But at the mid-range, there is often compromise, be it a lack of modern fittings, or comfort, or amenities, or breakfast, or on-site parking. Usually one or more is lacking. Not with this hotel, they have it all. The price was very reasonable, the hotel is really well situated, free breakfast included, the room has plenty of modern features and is spacious and comfortable. Plus the parking was a breeze, which is a huge plus for me. I think this has become my new Melbourne CBD staple. Thanks Holiday Inn Express! Oh, and the staff were awesome too."

"Booked this hotel for one night due to late night arrival of a flight from overseas. The hotel is situated next to the Novotel and is about a 10-15 minute walk from the international arrival terminal, and is well sign-posted. Check in went smoothly, and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. We purchased breakfast the next morning (which was a little on the expensive end comparatively speaking) but it was good quality food and offered a wide range. Highly recommended as a hotel."
