"This property was magical. We booked it as a post-wedding place for our extended family. We had 9 adults and 3 children. There was something for everyone! The heated pool was pristine. It was relaxing soaking up the Tuscan sun, the gentle breeze and the breathtaking view of the vineyards in the the distance. The beds were hotel quality, the towels plush and plentiful. Each room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of closet space and private baths in every room.We asked for dinner in the villa both nights and it was terrific. The first night was a Tuscan dinner with homemade pasta! The second night we had a pizza chef give a class using their centuries-old pizza oven. Everyone loved it and it was DELICIOUS!They even arranged for massages in the front garden for the bride and groom. After a long week of activity, it was much needed and appreciated.The ability to make our own coffee each morning was nice. The kitchen had everything. We had a full breakfast one morning and pastries and fruit the next. Everyone found something they loved. So yummy!Our hosts (Cate and her family) were responsive, friendly and soooo helpful. They even showed up with gifts for the kids as well as water-wings for the pool. They were exceptional.We arrived as guests, we left as friends. We will be back!"

"We almost hesitate to share this, because part of us wants to keep it our little secret—but it’s simply too special not to talk about.Tucked into the hills above Greve, the property offers sweeping Tuscan views of vineyards, olive orchards and scattered farmhouses. With 270-degree vistas, you can see both sunrises and incredible sunsets each day. Our family of 15 spent two unforgettable weeks there, and evenings quickly became a ritual: sipping their Santo Stefano wines as the sun melted into the horizon.There was endless space for our six children (under the age of 9) to run, play and explore, indoors and out. And there are plenty of areas to sit or lounge around the pools while enjoying the views. The house itself invited us to slow down and savor every moment. Several nights, we prepared traditional Bistecca alla Fiorentina over an open fire—an experience we won’t forget—and gathered for long, memorable meals at tables set throughout the property.And then there’s Elena and her family—truly exceptional hosts. Warm, attentive and never intrusive, they were always there when needed (which was rare), ensuring everything went seamlessly.We left with full hearts, lasting memories, and one shared hope: to return as soon as possible. This was truly a trip of a lifetime to a very special place on earth. P.S. "One of the most hotels we have ever stayed at! I would reccomend to anyone. It’s close to Florence, but just far enough away that you feel like you’re in the Tuscan country side. The winery there is also fantastic!"

"Francesca and Thomas went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Even called for dinner delivery at a local restaurant on Monday evening. The restaurant is closed on Monday but the delivery was delicious! Dinner on our patio was a treasure! The food at the restaurant was so delicious, authentic Italian at its best!! Lots of choices for each course! Wait staff were so warm and friendly! The bar was great as well with lots of offerings at great prices! The grounds are immaculate and truly stunning. Our apartment was so cozy and cute and our view was unbelievably beautiful! The pool was refreshing and sparkling clean. The breakfast was really good but each morning the eggs and bacon were served cold even though they were in a chafing dish, just no heat source, really only improvement needed though. We did not have a car during our stay so we did not venture out but we really enjoyed our relaxing stay! Taxi service to/from Florence is easily achieved. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!"

"Beautiful property in the beautiful Tuscan region, food was great as was the staff but I do think it important to note that there is no 24hr airport shuttle transportation as listed in the property details. Rather it is a private service that can be arranged through reception based on driver availability and for a pretty steep cost (approximately $200 is US dollars). Be sure to consider this when booking or rent a car!"
