"The house is in a beautiful location, however, for what we paid, the house itself was subpar. The furnishings were old and lacked much to be desired. The only place to sit inside was an outdoor couch that moved apart every time it was sit on and hard chairs at a stable or hard stools. The couch was very frustrating. There was not any place indoor our outdoor to cozy up after a day at the beach.Everything was old and outdated. In comparison to our previous stays, the location was great but the house was a 1 star. It was beyond hot in the home when we arrived and running all air that night, it did not cool down until 5am. It was hot inside the house 95% of the time. Cleanliness was just ok. I feel like if the owner put in a little effort for some updates, that would make this home so much better to stay at.Overall, the host was great, cleanliness was ok, home lacked in many areas and needs major updates. I would choose to not stay at this particular home again. There are many more for the same price range that offers much more. If location is what you are looking for, this home is in a great location."

"We had an amazing time at Rick’s place. It was as described plus 100X more. Rick was very helpful, friendly, and quick in communication. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The house had everything that we needed. It was extremely comfortable and clean. This was gold standard for vacation rental and we will definitely come back. The house was close to all the famous attractions mentioned on TikTok and instagram."

"Perfect property for a large family. Loved that it’s next to the muni golf course and beach is a 5 min walk. We had a blast and the whole family loved this place. Its location was perfect by the food truck court. Host was very attentive and brought a portable AC unit within mins cuz the main family room by the kitchen ac unit was not working and they accommodated us quickly. We’d love to stay here again! Highly recommended."

"What a view!!!! You know they always say location, location, location and from the ocean views to the sunsets to the great beaches, Tidepool Getaway does not disappoint! Stepping into the massive living area and seeing the spectacular view was breathtaking! The kitchen is a dream and very well appointed and equipped, even when there are multiple people cooking. Having the AC in each room was great because everyone was able to adjust to their own comfort level. If I could, I would stay here for every vacation! Absolutely fantastic! "

"The house was amazing and everything that we wanted. The views were stunning and it was hard to leave on checkout day. The only thing that I found a bit awkward was the lack of curtains in the upstairs rooms. We only used the owners suit and it was perfect, but no curtains at all. I thought I may have over looked them in the pictures but they aren't there. We aren't shy but with family and kids around we found the lack of curtains a bit uncomfortable. A quick trip to the dollar store for a shower curtain and Daiso for some washi tape and all was good. A quick fix and easily removeable. The view was epic don't get me wrong but we didn't want to be on display for all to see all the time. A perfect house. It could use some sheers or something in the owners suite and bathroom. I would also recommend that if you need plasticware for kids or elderly family members to bring some or get disposable items. The dishes were nice but heavy. We used some plasticware from the store. The window ac units are a touch loud but work great. Overall we really enjoyed our time there. The chickens running around help with early wake up calls and are fun. We loved the place and want to return in the future."
