"The Kinderhook Castle was the perfect place to celebrate an 80th birthday! The home offered plenty of space for our entire group, with the kitchen and pantry being standout features. We prepared every meal there and found everything we needed. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked—even including a built-in wok!The recreation area was a huge hit, especially on our one rainy day, providing hours of entertainment for guests of all ages. Access to the boat dock is just a short drive away, making it easy to rent a boat and launch from the Kinderhook dock. The property is also conveniently located near several family-friendly attractions that are accessible by car or boat.We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely choose Kinderhook Castle again for a future family gathering."

"This is our second time staying at the Norton house on this property and we LOVE the area. The kayaks, the calmness of the lake, beautiful views and a wonderful overall property. We saw many deer and herons. The kayak to the cave is a MUST. So cool. The clubhouse is a perk for kids, and an added plus was the frisbee golf. The home is wonderful and big enough for a family without being on top of each other. There is no swimming beach but plenty of ways to get in the water from one of the docks. 10/10. Highly recommend."

"This is an adorable cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was 95 degrees so we often wished we could swim in the lake, but it is so stagnant and dirty that it was not possible. It is in a great location and not a far drive from all close towns."

"This was the second time we have rented this place for a large family reunion. It was perfect! We brought our boat and loved the lake access, did tons of swimming, loved the provided lily pad and kayaks. We did so many puzzles, played pool and foosball, and watched new movies in the theater which was such a unique experience. There were lots of beds and bedrooms to utilize and having all the dinning seating really suited a large group well. Everything was clean and well placed instructions in the kitchen. We would come back again."

"We loved our stay here. The two decks were nice. The host was responsive to our needs. The house was clean and comfortable. The dock needs to be cleaned up and equipped with a brush mop to clean after the ducks come for a visit. We loved seeing the ducks everyday. This was a good rental for the price."

"Excellent location right on the water. We appreciated the ability to utilize a dock slip for ease of boating. We enjoyed the swim platform as well! Location was quiet and cabin was so cute and clean. We hope to visit again soon."
