"Our room was very clean. They are pet friendly which is fantastic. Close to restaurants, stores, and the amphitheatre. Plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly. The room did smell like a smoking room but a little febreeze helped. The halls have a horrible odor. The stairs, elevator, and common areas could be cleaned a little more often. Overall, we would stay again due to being pet friendly, price, and location"

The Mecklen Hotel, Charlotte, a Tribute Portfolio™ Hotel

8/10 Good

"Beautiful hotel. Clean room. Comfortable bed. But...no hand soap in the bathroom and the curtains would not close. We were facing the parking lot so with all the lights, it seemed like 2pm instead of 2am when we were trying to sleep. Lady working at checkin and late at night was nice but checkout lady in the morning clearly did not want to be there."

Hilton Charlotte University Place

10/10 Excellent

"From check in to check out, the property and staff were fabulous. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and loved the convenience of the location. Very walkable and the staff puts lots of effort into pleasing their guests. We will book at this location going forward when in the area."
