"The water park is excellent & I observed that the life guards paid very close attention to the area they were responsible for. The grandsons had a great time. Staff in every area were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was very easy though I did not receive a text that the room was ready. At 4:40 I went to the front desk to check and was given a room. Food in the Lodge Woodfired Grill was very good, truthfully, better than I expected it to be. But the next morning we had breakfast at the buffet and everything was cold to luke warm. One suggestion, take the TV screen out of the bowling area. We were all having a really good time till the boys noticed the screen and they "zombied out," all their attention on the screen."

"I stay at a lot of hotels and I love a nice hotel. But I've been reading Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara and he reminds me that a lot of what I love about great hotels, are the great people. Chino is the afternoon/evening manager who greets me most often. I stay here a lot. He is always exceptional and professional. He puts me at ease after a long drive but he's still expeditious and precise. He's a great representative of the hotel brand. After I say good night to Chino and go to my room, I'm reminded why I stay here. SPACIOUS rooms, great light, clean and comfortable and convenient. The pool is a great respite from the day complete with the water feature. I feel like I'm at a resort and yet, I can walk to Macy's without breaking a sweat. The location is fabulous. I highly, highly recommend."

"Room was clean, but you could smell weed in the hallways and outside in multiple places. Unfortunately that just seems to be the norm anywhere you go now. Room had been renovated but it was musky and warm despite the AC being on 68 when we got in there. Staff super friendly and nice though. Shower pressure was amazing!"
