"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. "The property was pristine and all staff members were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our room was spacious and loved having the private onsen. We dined at the hotel for breakfast and dinner -both were excellent but a special kudos to our chef for evening dinner as the steak was exceptional! The location is by the river but no walking path and there is some construction (reason for 4star ) but I would stay here again as we could easily walk to several attractions -gorgeous gardens and the outdoor sculpture museum .It is a little hilly but worth the effort. The hotel also provided a shuttle service to local stations that were prompt and well organized."
