「Excellent location」

「朝ごはんが美味しかったです!」

「I thought the hotel was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. The property is run down. There was peeling paint in our room and rust in the loo and on the radiator. The other side of the hotel had a cool breeze but our room was small and stifling in the heat. The bathroom was tiny with an almost miniature hand basin. The pillows were hard. There were no amenities such as toiletries, not even a box of tissues. The staff were pleasant enough, but the hotel is priced like a luxury country house...

「Lovely room, clean with plenty of space. Very comfortable bed and everything provided that you would need. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was despite the fact that they were dealing with flooding outside the pub following a storm.」

「Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again.」
