Old hotel. Food was good. Three issues: bed was uncomfortable; tap water was not recommended for drinking with the hotel providing carafes of water to take to your room; and parking spaces are quite limited.

A charming hotel, with stunning views, beautifully positioned overlooking the bay and conveniently to town, all its amenities and local transport. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and it was a perfect location to explore the Jurassic Coast and it's historical gems. Will definitely go back.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The standout feature is definitely the stunning scenery - the hotel offers beautiful views! Enjoyed a decent dinner on-site as well. Overall, a great place to stay in Swanage and we would happily return.

The hotel was set in a beautiful garden with the beach and sea below. The view was beautiful from our room and you could hear the sea when in bed, it was so calming. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly, The food was very tasty and well presented. The garden was very relaxing with sun loungers after a day on the beach.

Price Paid via Expedia excluded breakfast. This was NOT made clear on Expedia website The price paid was identical to the normal room price INCLUDING breakfast charged by the hotel. We, therefore, were charged £29.90 for a service we were denied because of Expedia. Room lacked a fridge.

My sister and I had a lovely short stay at this beautiful hotel. The view of the beach from the dining room was really stunning and the food was delicious - especially as we were last minute diners. The beds were comfortable and our room and bathroom had been refreshed to a high standard, so everything was clean and bright. Our breakfasts were freshly cooked and again delicious. The nearby car park was fine instead of the quite limited parking at the hotel. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful, so all in all we had a great stay away and would recommend the hotel to anyone else who is thinking of booking.

This was a lovely relaxing overnight stay at the end of my holiday. I had a wonderful sea view from my spacious room on the top floor, which had a large fan that quietly delivered a cooling movement of air during the night. It was only a 5-minute walk to the beach for a swim. In the early evening it was lovely to sit & relax in the garden area with no pressure to buy a drink from the bar. The shower was powerful with a large head and a handy second hand held showerhead.
