"This is a really good budget hotel and excellent value for money. Our room was really spacious, spotlessly clean and bed was comfortable. Good quality television for a low price hotel and all the channels I wanted. Which you often don't get with more expensive budget hotels. Air conditioning worked well and easy to use. I had breakfast in the main building- really nice ambience, everything spotlessly clean, service really friendly and helpful and my cooked breakfast was spot on. Small but quality choice of continental breakfast- the pastries were excellent and the coffee decent. The whole place seems really well looked after and well managed. We would definitely stay again at a Marston's and especially Highland Gate at Stirling. Thank you."

"From booking to leaving, our stay at the Oak Tree Inn was a delight and a pleasure. We could not have asked for more helpful or considerate staff, and the room was immaculate and spacious, and very comfortable. The food was excellent, and the location perfect. "Nice room, very comfortable. Friendly staff and really good on site restaurant. Pool, hot tub and saunas were nice. Fitness room was well stocked. Only recommendation is it would be nice to have a fridge in the room. Overall though it was an excellent stay and my wife and I would definitely stay there again."

"Arrived early but still got checked-in straight away which was a bonus. Nice clean well maintained room and bathroom. Reception staff always say hi whenever you are going in or out and they smile! Found all the staff to be very pleasant and welcoming, whether in the restaurant or breakfast etc.. Great choice for food options in the restaurant, you could eat in there for a week and never get the same thing twice. Breakfast is whatever you want including a cooked breakfast served at your table when you are ready. Our third visit to the Duck Bay Hotel in the last couple of years and it wont be our last. It is a bit top heavy on pricing, but in my opinion it's worth every penny."
