Hotel was clean and comfortable. On the main road in town, but noise wasn't an issue. Easy walk on the main road to shops and restaurants, though the hotel had a very good restaurant, as well as a bar in the back. Breakfast was very good, adequate choices. Only 3 miles from Bracklinn Falls, worth the short drive and then a short walk.

Great breakfast! Close to waterfall, the Craggs, other city sites of interest, and not too far from Loch Lomond. The room was spacious but a little noisy next to street. Across from grocery store for quick snacks.

This the second time I’ve stayed at Dalgair House Hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay a third if I’m in the area again. My single room was spacious, bed comfy and the bathroom properly sized for an adult human being! The hot water for the shower was also genuinely hot, a sometimes overlooked basic!

On first arriving was a bit disappointed with initial outlook but this was a wee surprise. Staff on checking in were very nice gave us directions to free parking at back of the hotel. Room was very clean and tidy bathroom was clean but for safety could do with a handle to get in and out of the shower maybe a nonslip mat in the bath and a bath mat to step out. The bar was well stocked and fairly reasonable priced, entertainment on Saturday was great amazing singer. Food at breakfast was good but the Bistro for dinner Saturday night was first class plenty to choose from Featherblade Beef Risotto was to die for. A two night stay was fantastic would defo be back. Thank you.

Hotel conveniently located on the high street, with car parking around the back, and free street parking at the front. Rooms 6 and 8 were spacious with large double beds and good amenities, however the decor and furniture in the bedrooms and en suites was a bit tired and in need of doing up or replacing, and being cleaned more thoroughly. The downstairs restaurant looked to have a good menu, but we chose to have an Indian next door (very good!) and the hotel’s breakfast menu and service was very good and plentiful.
