Very clean, large room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hotel staff helpful and friendly.

The hotel has potential, the hotel itself was clean, and the location was great. Those were the highlights. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was a letdown, mostly due to a lack of attention to basic details that really matter during a stay. Check-in was quick and easy, so I was optimistic at first. But once I got to the room, I noticed there were no towels. I had to head back down to request them. Then, when I went to take a shower, I realized there was no body soap either. Since it was late, I waited until the next day to ask for it. I left a note in the room, not realizing that housekeeping isn’t done daily. Since no one came in, the soap wasn’t replenished. Later that evening, I stopped by the front desk again and mentioned it. The young woman at the desk indicated that she’d take care of it, but when I returned hours later, the soap still hadn’t been delivered. I ended up going back down a second time to ask again this time, the gentleman at the desk apologized stating that his coworker probably forgot and handed me the soap and lotion, which also hadn't been in the room. Honestly, if certain amenities are offered, they should be there from the start. As a guest, I shouldn’t have to keep going back and forth to the front desk just to get basic essentials like towels or soap. The hotel has potential, but the lack of attention to these small, important details made the stay feel frustrating and incomplete to say the least.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the daily housekeeping and the warm welcome at check-in. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. I will definitely come back on my next trip!

The Hotel Monopol is a lovely hotel, close to Frankfurt Hbf. The area around the hotel was a little rundown with some homelessness but not unsafe. The hotel was incredibly hot. I understand the efficiency of not requiring a/c but being there when it is hot, humid and 40+ degrees, the room was miserably hot.
