The six person room we got was spacious. My child left her shorts and suica in the room after we checked out. We called the hotel and they were able to retrieve it from the room. The first time we checked in for three nights and the room smelled of mildew. It was better after we turned on the air-conditioning. Overall we liked our accommodation and will consider it for next trip as there’s not many options for six person accommodation available.

We were greeted with a welcoming smile and receptionist was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and we were able to do our laundry at a reasonable price. The bathroom amenities were available. The location is nearby the train station which a big convenience for us and there’s 7 Eleven and Lawson for water and snacks that is within less than 5 minutes walking. Thank you staff for the wonderful accommodation.

Comfortably slept 2 adults and 3 teenagers all over 6’ tall. Everyone had a bed to themselves. Laundry was always available a few floors down. Room easily held 2 large, 5 medium, and 5 personal luggage bags. Room has a fridge, microwave, stove, dishes, pots and pans. Easy train access. Would recommend for large families.

Overall, a good stay. Staff was exceptional and very helpful. Check in was smooth, in fact they let us check in early which was a blessing. The room was as advertised, and pictures were accurate. The location was ideal, and a quick short walk to the station. The only issue was a slightly musty smell to the room, but it had been raining quite a bit.

This place is great for families with young kids. Having the kitchenette with fridge and microwave is great when you don’t want to eat out for every meal. There is a good amount of space in the family apartment with bunk beds for the kids and a dining table which makes eating easy and comfortable. We had a train view room and it was a hit with the kids! Staff are super friendly and speak English so we had no issues checking in or getting recommendations on places to eat. The location close to Ueno park was great. The neighborhood is much quieter than Ginza area and not nearly as crowded. It’s about a 10 min walk to the park and 10-15 mins to the Ameyayokocho shopping area. This is across the street from Ueno station so getting to other areas of Tokyo is also super easy using the train system. You’re one stop away from Tokyo station and a short 10 min ride to Ginza station. We stayed at Mimaru locations in Osaka and Kyoto as well and used their same day luggage transport service which was super simple to use. Would highly recommend Mimaru!
