"This place is a gem for our ski trip. Cosy lodge, our room was spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful views and daily breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Location was perfect for us and just a few minutes away from the main ski resorts via a free shuttle. Has great amenities and comfortable facilities. "We stayed at Ichinoyu Katei for one night and had an excellent experience. Futons were very comfortable, the breakfast in the morning was in the traditional Japanese style. There are two areas on the upper floor (gender-separated) with two hot baths, one indoors and one outdoors in each area. We were given the key to visit the town's public baths. The staff were very friendly and took care of us. They do speak sufficient English. Would definitely stay again."
