「Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast.」

「The owner was very friendly and the property was an interesting old building. However, our room was a bit out-dated and the shower unit was a bit mouldy. Also, breakfast was a bit disappointing with powdered scambled eggs and tinned tomatoes.」

「Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had (family room) was tired and well used. Poorly set out, occupants of the double room had to go through the twin room to access the bath room. Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window. Breakfast although served by helpful waitress was poor, I x small rasher of bacon, a small what looked like and tasted like cheap brand sausage. Toast was thin tasteless cheap (45p) supermarket...

「Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes」

「Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.」

「Very clean and new」

「Normally a very good hotel. Currently had an extension being built. So plenty of daytime noise. Had a broken shower that I’ve been informed will get fixed. However my main concern/problem was a member of staff called Lilac (or some similar). Rude just doesn’t cut it. Repeatedly interrupted her colleague at time of check in. So much so I asked the check in staff if they wanted to deal with her e」

「Amazing place, people accommodation and food, and let’s not forget the farm shop! I won’t go in to detail just go stay there and see for yourself. Truly wonderful and will be back one day. Thanks Ian 👍」

「It’s is a lovely place to stay and the price and quality of the food is amazing.」

「A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!」

「Just ok」

「Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all.」

「Clean and modern.」
