"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "

"For clarity this was for a quick overnighter to see a gig at the Hordern. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and shared bathroom were clean and tidy. Room was small however suited the purpose perfectly. The bed was comfy however felt a bit short, I’m 186 cm so that might be why haha. Otherwise a great little spot for a quick stay. Highly recommended. I’ll keep the Alison in mind for my next visits to Sydney. 4 more in 2026 !"
