"I enjoyed my stay, the only issue was the microwave was left dirty by the previous guest and it was an easy miss by the housekeepers. Otherwise it was a really pleasant stay. I did have issues trying to reach out the hotel to extend my stay but I was able to do that once I arrived and checked in. Really great location, the hotel grounds were really nice, clean and modern. Restaurant/Cafe was lovely, great coffee, cant complain."

"We stayed here due to a medical emergency. The place is located in the heart of Randwick, literally across the road from POW hospital. Parking is a challenge and you are reliant on street parking. The location is fantastic however, directly opposite coffee shops. It’s only a very short walk to restaurants and pubs. A room was very small but otherwise well appointed and very clean. Staff were very helpful and the place was easy to get in and out of after hours. A beautiful building from the outside. Ideal if you have family in the hospital complex."

"We stayed here for a couple of nights due to a family medical emergency. The place is only a few short minutes from POW hospital. Located in a quiet backstreet. Parking is a challenge as there is no carpark and street parking is the only option. We needed a late check in and the staff were very helpful and gave us easy instructions on how to get into the building. The room was quite small, however impeccably clean and freshly painted. Lovely place."

"This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Royal. As a solo traveller (on this occasion), I felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel and local area and all of the staff members I encountered were pleasant and helpful. I was allocated an accessible room (not requested) which was spacious and clean with a large wet room style bathroom. The water pooled on the floor following a shower but it was carefully dried by cleaning staff members on a daily basis and towels were in plentiful supply. Food and drinks in the hotel are reasonably priced with daily meal specials and "happy hour" drinks discounts. The bars are lively but not too rowdy, used by a mix of people including families. Near to the hotel are large supermarkets and a great variety of places to eat. The location is ideal for the eastern suburbs gorgeous beaches (Coogee is a 15 minute walk) and there are also frequent buses. The light rail is very close by, so getting into Sydney's CBD and to Circular Quay is quick and easy. The hotel is also easily reached from the airport's international terminal via two buses (420 to Mascot, change bus for 358 to Randwick) . The hotel will continue to be my first "go to" place whenever I am in Sydney."
