"This hotel is one of the best ever, from the staff, to the food, to the cleanliness. I have to give a shout out to all the cleaning staff in this hotel - if it was not for them it would not be the resort it is. The front end staff and so polite and helpful. There are a couple of names to mention, Irma and Sal in the buffet, Raul one of the food servers and Elizabeth and all the staff in the lobby bar. You can never go wrong with this resort, our second time down there and we will be back. "

"The room was great, no issues. The staff was great. We did not get a welcome packet, but later found out we would have received one when we spoke with the timeshare selling people. We declined at the start of our vacation. You can not swim at the beach in front of the hotel due to the strong undercurrent. The food at the buffet was ok. The steak house food was amazing, very good. The 2 shows were entertaining and fun. Loved the location of the Hotel, very close to the Marina. Very safe area. We would recmmend to stay. We will return. "

"The spa was quite good. The location on boardwalk is convenient. The pool was clean. The hot tub was only luke warm. They try to sell you a time share when you go to check in. Also, they don't tell you when you check in that there's a service charge to clean your room, and an environmental/local tax per day, until you go to check out. The shuttle back to the airport only goes a few times per day and we had to get a taxi to catch our flights, which also was not made clear when we booked and checked in."

"A bit disappointing. I have never been in a cold jacuzzi before. The beach was on the pacific and unswimmable. The air conditioning in the room did not work worth a darn. Fortunately the evenings were cool enough to make the roo comfortable, but daytime. Was hot!"

"The house is great, spacious, terrific outdoor space and rooftop views. Close to a beach with good snorkeling and the house has beach chairs and umbrellas. Worth paying for hot tub heat but did not need pool heat. Anna is responsive and Daniella checked in on us and returned a lost item to us. I am still waiting to hear back from management on a billing issue but overall we had a terrific week at Casa La Roca. "
