After looking and comparing properties in Cabo, we settled on this resort after favorable reviews. Checking in the hotel was a breeze. We were greeted with some margaritas while waiting to check in. We were initially put in room 2150 but the room was leaking water from the ceiling. I complained about this and then was given room 3145. The new room was much better and had no leaks. The rooms are showing their age and needs updating. The first room had very strong mildew odor, but the second room only had a slight smell of mildew. The jetted tubs looked disgusting. I would never get in either the outdoor one or the one insider. The bed was not comfortable. The sliding door to the balcony didn't fully secure which allowed bugs to enter the room. Overall, I was not impressed with the room. The resort itself was ok, but nothng to write home about. It's seen the best of it's better days. The staff for the most part were all nice. The bartenders were nice and attentative. The drinks were ok, but they used a lot of bottom shelf alchohol. As far as the food, we only tried the buffet for breakfast and dinner, the steakhouse, and the grill at the outside pool. I don't know what got to us, but my wife and I both had stomach issues after eating the food. We're not sure which dish or which restaurant, but something in the food didn't agree with us. I normally have an iron belly, but something got to us bad. We stayed at the resort and didn't leave at all. Would not stay here again.
