"Rooms were small but clean and had all the necessary items. Good AC, thankfully, as Orvieto was very hot. Breakfast (included) was simple but good. The staff were friendly, fast and helpful. Two items to note: 1) Hotel signage is very subtle. Believe your Apple Maps. It’s there. 2) Parking is scarce. Plan to walk a bit. Good overall. Thanks!"

"The studio was amazing and the location is excellent. The host was very kind and helpful. A couple things to note. The studio is in the heart of town and Google Maps will not direct you to the location utilizing the correct streets. I recommend getting very specific directions from the host in advance. A map provided by the host would be helpful. Also, the listing says laundry or coin laundry, but there is no laundry at the studio. There is a pay for laundry shop nearby. Lastly, the WiFi was consistently dropping, especially in the evenings. This would not have been an issue but we were working remotely while there so we had to go to a nearby cafe for consistent WiFi."

"This hotel was so much better in person than it looked online. The rooms were large and we had a balcony with outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and helpful, the air conditioning worked well which was appreciated as it was very hot while we were there. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location was central to everything. Maybe not perfect for people with mobility issues, as there are some stairs to negotiate here and there, but that is true of many hotels in historic areas."

Home in Orvieto - Corso Cavour 138

"Corso Cavour, 138 is a lovely apartment in the middle of everything in Orvieto. It has two almost identical large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, plenty of closet space, each with their own large baths (one ensuite). It’s very well provisioned if you want to cook in, but with so many great restaurant choices, we ate out regularly. Also it has a washing machine and drying rack, iron and ironing board, and most everything you need for a comfortable stay-if you can’t find something, Valerie is extremely responsive and accommodating. The air conditioning worked great, which was a life saver for us in the hot late July/early August heat. We were two friends traveling together and we found we had plenty of privacy as well as space for community when we wanted it. Do be aware there are twenty stairs up to the apartment, once you enter the large front door, but as a total surprise, when we arrived in Orvieto on a really hot day and were contemplating our bus ride up to Orvieto Centro, Valerie, our host, arrived to transport us and helped with our luggage. The one issue we encountered while staying in Corso Cavour, 138, Valerie quickly responded to and resolved. She is a stellar host. Orvieto, if you’ve never been, is a treasure-famous for it’s beautiful Duomo, vast underground of caves, and fabulous restaurants and shopping; with either a rental car or via train, you have lots of other interesting places to explore."
